There are some big releases set to hit the box office over the next few months and some of them have got us excited. Here are some promising and the most anticipated movies that we just can’t wait to watch:

Death on the Nile

Directed by and also starring Kenneth Branagh as Agatha Christie’s incomparable Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, this film is an adaptation of Christie’s novel of the same name. The whodunnit promises to be enthralling with some great nail-biting suspense. Branagh absolutely nailed the portrayal of one of literature’s most fascinating crime-solving detectives. And it would be even more interesting alongside a truly A-list cast.

Expected release date: October 22, 2020

The Witches

Anne Hathaway in The Witches (2020)

Based on the Roald Dahl novel of the same name, this movie conjures a world where sorceresses exist. The Witches are bad news for the young boy – the protagonist, who, while on a quest to foil the coven’s plans for eliminating all children, gets turned into a mouse. The trailer of the movie is very promising and stars Anne Hathaway as the Grand High Witch. The narration by Chris Rock adds the cherry on top!

Expected release date: October 29, 2020

Soul

Jamie Foxx in Soul (2020)

Soul continues Pixar’s tradition of taking complex philosophical ideas about the nature of existence and filtering them into beautifully animated storytelling. The plot synopsis for Soul tells us that an aspiring jazz musician (Jamie Foxx) is inadvertently separated from his soul following a performance that could finally be his big break. His soul then journeys into ‘The Great Before’, the realm where personality quirks and attributes develop before they bind to a human body. Sounds like a hoot, we cannot wait!
