At the 2021 Arabian Travel Market (ATM), Ascott presented its active plans for Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, which included more than 1,856 units across 14 luxuriously built residences to be added to its portfolio by the end of next year.
Out of the upcoming projects, the global housing owner-operator is scheduled to launch its third property in Dubai in Q3 2021: Citadines Culture Village Dubai.
Designed to exemplify the city’s vibrant way of life, it will offer residents 81 open and contemporary guestrooms ideally located only minutes from the Dubai International Airport.
Omani residents and locals may take heart with the upcoming inauguration of Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat, which will provide 96 units of extravagantly designed serviced apartments in the heart of Muscat’s central business area.
In Turkey, Ascott intends to build a second property, Citadines Nivo Istanbul, across from one of the city’s largest shopping malls, the Mall of Istanbul, which will include an additional 150 beautifully completed one-room apartments overlooking the peaceful Istanbul cityscape.
Qatari citizens and residents seeking an escape from Doha’s frenetic pace of life may now unwind in elegance and luxury inside the city, following the relaunch of Ascott’s highly anticipated 228-unit Somerset West Bay Doha. The facility, which is infused with the country’s rich cultural history, provides people with the perfect retreat to relax in a home away from home.
The company also intends to expand its presence in East Africa, with three additional properties planned to open in Kenya and Ethiopia in 2021 and 2022; Somerset Westview Nairobi will provide the perfect blend of elegant and modern lifestyles, while Somerset Rosslyn Nairobi will offer a secure gated 150-unit community that will include an array of complete lifestyle facilities. Lastly, Somerset Bole Addis Ababa is scheduled to open in the Ethiopian capital by the end of 2022, inside a purposefully placed mixed-use development neighborhood in Bole.
